For the lighting of building facades and now available for indoor applications with a decorative effect
Under the brand RED – Integrating Lighting Technologies, Universal Science has recently presented new LED solutions. Originally designed for the lighting of building facades, they are now available also for indoor applications with a decorative effect.
But what does windowsill mean? The so-called windowsill light applications are designed to illuminate the windowsills creating a unique decorative lighting effect. Universal Science presents this new product under the RED – Integrating Lighting Technologies brand that identifies the development and internal production of LED modules. It is part of the DecoMAX product family, dedicated to all decorative lighting solutions.
The system’s main component is the RED branded module with 4 CSP LEDs, available in constant voltage and in direct current, in White colour or RGBW version. A module to direct the light beam and create the characteristic contour effect proposed with a lens having a 180° emission angle of the CZP family of LedLink Optics, a historical partner of Universal Science in the design and production of LED optics. In recent months, the windowsill LED module has been continuously updated and improved by the R&D team to choose the type and arrangement of the LEDs on the board.
It was finally tested at the headquarters new laboratory in Pregnana Milanese (Milan, Italy) using as a prototype a case internally made by a 3D printer and whose final effect is that of 180° lighting.
