The project of an elegant apartment in the centre of Lecco

15 July 2023

Created by Atrium Design, specifically by the architect Patrizia Carzaniga who chose Egoluce products for the lighting

The striking entrance hall is characterised using Calacatta Gold marble, an elegant marble with white and gold hues that covers the floor and walls. To break up this uniformity, two wallpapers have been placed one in front of the other. Two different solutions have been adopted for the lighting: linear adjustable profile with diffused light, Magika, and Star mini trim square spotlight. Crossing the entrance, we come to a large space with a living room, dining room and open kitchen. The tones that characterise this room are neutral, with a touch of colour given by the yellow of the armchairs; the kitchen, on the other hand, has a special champagne finish. The living room lighting is provided by several dimmable Magika profiles with separate switching systems to create different atmospheres depending on the time of day. Star square spotlights, instead, were chosen to illuminate the kitchen worktop. The guest bathroom, which overlooks the salon, is entirely clad in marble and is characterised by its distinctive washbasin.

Here, too, Star spotlights provide the general lighting of the space. The corridor, which divides the living area from the sleeping area, has a minimalist and elegant look, characterised by the use of wallpaper at the background that confers depth. A series of square Star spotlights has been installed on the ceiling, while Linea recessed by Egoluce vertically on one of the two walls provides more atmospheric lighting. The step markers, arranged in pairs, are square section Spoons that recreate an interesting play of light on the floor. The rooms, like the rest of the house, have an elegant and refined design. They are all characterised by the use of interesting wallpapers, which emphasise the ambience.

In the master bedroom we find the Magika profile, positioned on one side, and Unidea pendant lamps illuminating the bedside tables. In the kids’ rooms, Linea elegantly highlights the perimeter of the bedrooms, while different solutions were adopted for lighting the bedside tables: Newton pendant lamp and a Lancia Tonda table lamp. The master bathroom, neutral in colour, is characterised by ceramic tiles with floral motifs covering the walls of the two short sides of the room. Square Star spotlights provide the general lighting while IP67 Zeppelin spotlights have been placed in the shower. A third bathroom, also clad in neutral-coloured materials, is lit from above by Star spotlights. A Magika, positioned on the wall behind the sanitary fittings, provides elegant and functional lighting on the other hand, IP67 Zeppelins have been positioned on the shower wall.
