Nemo Studio illuminates La Pista Restaurant
NEMO STUDIO, the architectural branch of Nemo Group based in Turin – Italy, has created, in collaboration with VELVET, the lighting project of LA PISTA: a restaurant located inside the Lingotto in Turin, which, with its exemplary test track on the roof, represents one of the symbols of the productive soul of the city.
At the project’s basis is the ambitious mission of being an active part of an ecosystem, where sustainability is the keyword. Thinking about the long life of both products and the environment have been chosen biodegradable, recyclable, and non-toxic materials. The entire design has developed thanks to the collaboration with local artisan and industrial realities. The lighting of the rooms, completely bespoke, saw the inclusion of custom lamps designed by NEMO STUDIO, unique and elegant, dedicated to the different spaces of the room. Structures in borosilicate glass brushed brass and aluminium with a satin brass finish combined with spheres in smoked blown glass and transparent cylinders in a blown crystal of different shapes and sizes.
To complete the lighting of the different rooms, a delicate and diffused light is produced by a custom version of ASTEROIDE, with a satin brass structure.
