Sylcom, artistic glass Made in Venice

25 November 2024

The beauty that illuminates everyday life

With a ten-year history in the most authentic Venetian glassmaking tradition, Sylcom interprets the present and projects into the future with an international language that describes its values of experience, innovation and propensity for beauty through light. Light is energy, illuminating any environment and dressed in objects with a creative connotation. That generates chandeliers of high artistic value, like a living entity that enhances the quality of the glass, lights up its colours, defines its shapes and allows you to look through.

In Sylcom, high craftsmanship meets design, tradition meets technology, resulting as part of that primordial act allowing the miracle of glass as an alchemical assembly of natural elements. Thanks to human work, fire, sand, pigments and water transform into malleable materials to evolve into bold shapes in harmonious geometries that echo the profiles of the Venetian lagoon. Venice, a dreamlike but lively and pulsating city, confirms itself as the inexhaustible source of inspiration for today’s creatives as it was for the masters of the past in all artistic sectors. In fact, in the agile profiles of the Sylcom collection, you can see the masterpieces of churches and palaces: mullioned windows, sculptures, stuccoes, and mouldings. Each phase of Sylcom’s production follows the value of “know-how”, understood as a succession of human actions in compliance with a shared motto: beauty that illuminates everyday life.

Each piece of the handmade collection comes from a deep knowledge of the millenary Venetian tradition of glass processing. The human component is an essential value of every phase of the supply chain, from origin to destination, perceptible albeit invisible. All raw materials come from the Italian territory. The entire production process, characterized by great attention to individual detail, takes place within the Veneto company headquarters; each product, as a unique piece, is placed on the market marked with a progressive number and appropriately signed and certified.
