SICAM 2024, the biggest ever

5 September 2024

A few weeks before the opening of the gates, everything is ready for the 2024 edition of SICAM, the exhibition dedicated to semi-finished products, supplies, and furnishing accessories to be held from 15 to 18 October at the Pordenone Fiere exhibition centre

A new opportunity to see the best of the world’s production of mechanisms, decorations, surfaces and accessories for the furniture industry brought together in the same place, which for fifteen years now has found in Pordenone an exhaustive, complete “starting point” of a new year of ideas and creativity.

The vast majority of the furnishings, wardrobes, tables, living rooms, and settings that we will be able to see in the many events in 2025 will have furniture as the protagonists are born from the visions, intelligence, concreteness, quality, functionality of the products that in Pordenone find a unique showcase.

Again in 2024, SICAM will keep its promises and will welcome all the most “beautiful names” in furniture supplies, which have long since purchased all the space available, which this year will be just under 20 thousand square meters, the largest ever, to the expansion of Hall 5 – already used in the 2023 edition – and the additional space recovered in the area adjacent to Hall 8.

“An intervention that allowed us not only to welcome some companies that had remained on the waiting list but to have an even more rational exhibition centre, where to design simpler and more effective visitor routes,” commented Carolina Giobbi, SICAM’s marketing and communication manager.

A space featured by paths allowing remarkable visibility to over 650 exhibitors, 68% of whom represent “Made in Italy” and 32% from foreign countries, further confirmation of the event’s international attractiveness. As always, behind the Italian exhibitors – the largest contingent – the German “division” is confirmed, followed by Turkey, Austria, Spain and gradually all the other countries present at the event.

“The numbers comfort us and symbolise in a very concrete way the value of the Italian trade fair dedicated to the world of furniture supplies,” continued Carolina Giobbi. “A reconfirmation rate of participation of over 90% and a waiting list that we unfortunately cannot give satisfaction to, we believe are the best way to confirm the event’s health”.

These are also the result of the great promotional work carried out worldwide – every year in many countries – through the presence and participation in fairs, events and appointments during which the importance of SICAM is reaffirmed both for exhibitors and visitors.
