“Shapes of lights” at Via Statuto 16, Milano

12 April 2024

The choice of materials, the precious decorative details in different colours and finishes, consolidate Masiero’s identity in the knowledge of metalworking

A calm and airy space, a perfect canvas cloaked in tranquility for a selection of lamps belonging to Dimore collection with elegant finishes and soft, textured accents. Tones ranging from taupe to pink cover every surface, arched architectural elements conceal the latest collections: Cordea by Favaretto&Partners in the new finishes and a dramatic cascade of Nappe by Marco Zito with the refined bronze finish. Niches reveal Visio by Nava + Arosio, Horo by Pierre Gonalons, and Honicé by Oriano Favaretto, while the showcase is all about the new Luppiter collection by Marco Zito by Masiero. In the dehors, which replicates the cross-vaulted architectural structure of the interiors, the outdoor Cordea designed by Favaretto&Partners are suspended, declined in special finishes.

Luppiter, Collezione Dimore 2024

Extreme aesthetic pureness with chic details for the ‘Luppiter’ lighting family of suspension, wall, floor and table lamps, which Marco Zito designed inspired by the geometric shape of the ellipse, a distinctive and at the same time functional sign. The name Luppiter recalls a planet (Latin for ‘father of Jupiter’), semantically associating the name of the family of lamps with the orbital shape of the structure as distinctive mark. The ellipsoidal matt black metal frame, the leit motif of the whole collection, integrates a small metal cap, placed on one of the frame’s vertices (upper or lower depending on the model) and containing the LED light source.

The orbit of the frame is enriched, depending on the typology of lamps, by white alabaster or gold metal spheres, or by shiny decorative bell-shaped caps in gold-plated and brushed metal (with a white interior), which create a pleasant contrast with the stem with its essential lines. In detail, the suspensions are available with a frame in three heights and a small or large bell; the wall sconce, the floor lamp and the table version are characterised by an alabaster or metal sphere; the floor lamp and the table version are also available with a small bell-shaped hat. Like a precious jewel suspended between refinement and harmony, a modular synthesis of geometric elements made of different materials and finishes, Luppiter shines in any kind of space.

Thanks to its different shapes and finishes, Luppiter is a collection suitable for both residential decoration and use in contract environments, from hospitality to public spaces.
