Italton, a company of the Tonelli group, produces honeycomb in its most innovative and modern version thanks to the conception and design of a state-of-the-art production process

A sophisticated, highly automated and high-performance system designed and built, on specific requests, to offer the furniture market something revolutionary: this is the honeycomb of the future that opens a new era and revolutionizes the way of furniture production. The latest technology of the Italton plant makes it possible to create a state-of-the-art panel, different from the classic honeycomb panel, for its composition – which involves the insertion of longitudinal strips positioned according to the customer’s request – and for the relevant production capacity.

The innovation is that the (R)evolution panel is available without strips, too. A simple and resistant fixing system with suitable hardware – available on the market – makes it possible to produce furniture using ITALTON honeycomb panels without perimeter strips. Making furniture with honeycomb panels without strips has considerable advantages: they respect the environment because they use fewer raw materials, are even lighter while maintaining the same strength, stability and flatness, and are easy to handle, pack and transport.

The (R)evolution panel respects the environment: there is a drastic saving of cubic meters of wood and felling of trees. In addition, the lower weight of the panel allows higher load volumes with consequent savings in transport costs and lower CO2 emissions into the air. With the (R)evolution panel, you can make all the cabinet components: kitchen tops, shelves, sides, doors, bottoms and walls, but for displays, signage, too, or all situations where lightness and strength are required. The panel can be supplied raw or finished with decorative papers at the customer’s request.

The (R)evolution Panel is supplied up to 5600 mm in length and up to 2200 mm in width, in thicknesses from 15 mm to 100 mm, with up to 9 longitudinal strips in 4 different widths.
