MIV has been recognized for over 10 years in the Italian and foreign markets among the leaders in the marketing of components for the lighting sector, thanks above all to the high availability of the product and the speed of logistics management: there are over 6000 items available for immediate delivery and a 24-hour shipping service.
The sales department is available to provide estimates suitable for every kind of need. The relationship with customers, held in high regard by MIV, is taken care of both by the agents present throughout the national territory and by the internal technical office, which constantly follows the customer and updates him in real time on new products and technologies, which is essential in this historical moment with the entry into force of the Ecodesign directive for lighting (EU REGULATION 2019/2020).
A specific regulation intended to simplify and unify the EU rules regarding lighting products; in a few words, introducing new mandatory parameters and previous elements and amendments of the Ecodesign legislation are now part of a single standard. The EPREL directive supports the EU’s commitment to ensure safety and eco-sustainability for the entire lighting sector using increasingly efficient devices that conform to the shared guidelines. Among the mandatory requirements are the introduction of the new Energy Label, simplified construction of lighting fixtures to make them easily repairable, and the limitation of the “flicker” and “strobe effect” values.
MIV immediately took action, assisting its customers and recommending the products that best meet the new requirements and that best adapt to the structure of the device, avoiding expensive variations that sometimes even lead to changing its aesthetics.
