Firefly and Nest protagonists in London, on April 13th and 14th
[LND] Lighting, Landa Illuminotecnica, an established Italian company in the outdoor lighting sector, participated to the 2022 edition of ARCHITECT@WORK, the event created to put players in the architecture & design world in direct contact with the public through a unique concept. Of the 16 ARCHITECT@WORK events scheduled for 2022, Landa has confirmed its participation in the spring date in London and the fall dates in Paris, Berlin and Milan. After the inaugural edition in Warsaw, staged on March 30th and 31st, the second edition of the fair has been held on April 13th and 14th in London, at the Truman Brewery. The concept was for all exhibitors to have small modular corners of the same size, arranged in such a way as to create a central space where companies and visitors could meet. The [LND] corner was the ideal stage to show the public two of the most iconic products from the recent Unexpected Collection: Firefly and Nest.
Firefly is a lamp with an organic design, available in pole or pendant version, able to create luminous paths in total harmony with the green of a garden, but also with hybrid indoor/outdoor environments. Nest enhances the “unexpected” soul of the collection, thanks to the steel supporting frame covered by a weave of real willow wood, specially treated to ensure high durability.
As the name suggests, the Unexpected Collection introduces products to the outdoor sector that depart from the ordinary canons of technical lighting: technically excellent luminaires that stand out for their poetic design, where the style inspired by nature creates a strong bond between man, light and the natural environment itself.
The [LND] corner has also played on suggestions for an immersive experience: Firefly and Nest, in fact, were placed in a context that offered the visitor a final perception as close as possible to the real installation, thanks to the use of an enveloping background image and a stylised tree as a life-size support. Both luminaires on display combine iconic style, efficiency and performance: these values, which are also the cornerstones of Landa’s production, earned Firefly and Nest the approval of the jury of architects and interior designers asked by the organisers of ARCHITECT@WORK to assess the level of innovation of the products on display.
As a creator of solutions for outdoor aesthetics, Landa Illuminotecnica studies, designs and produces (in Italy) lighting solutions and projects, putting the quality of every single detail first.
Following the spring event in London, [LND] will also attend, with a lot of new products, three of the autumn sessions of ARCHITECT@WORK: in Paris (September 22nd and 23rd), in Berlin (October 19th and 20th) and in Milan (November 9th and 10th).
