Hettich and its relevant news for the Italian market

27 February 2024

Hettich on Tour in central-northern Italy, interzum in Cologne, It’s all in Hettich in Soave and at Sicam in Pordenone. The year 2023 saw Hettich as the protagonist of numerous initiatives aimed at the design and furniture market with a single common intent: involve customers in meaningful experiences related to the knowledge of innovative products as a lever to encourage customization and differentiation of the offer.

At Sicam, the International Exhibition of Components, Accessories and Semi-finished Products for the Furniture Industry, Hettich returned with renewed vigour in the light of important innovations. In particular, Hettich emphasized its competence in furniture accessories, re-inventing the functionality of storage spaces and creating an effect that “turns heads” in the kitchen, bathroom, office and store. FurnSpin, the spinning storage unit, makes itself heard because it causes wonder for the lightness and silence of the movement but also because it reinterpreted some furniture elements that have always had particular practicality and precise intended use.

Furthermore, Sicam was also an opportunity to present different solutions responding to market trends and the need to make spaces even more interconnected and perfectly organized. Among the exclusive proposals is AvanTech YOU Illumination, a project dedicated to drawers characterized by an LED system that points out the geometries and features of the design of the furniture and the environment in which it is. Hettich chose Sicam to underline the wish to innovate thanks to a recently announced acquisition closely involving our country.

The Hettich Group is acquiring the stocks of the Italian FGV group with the aim of developing – thanks to its expertise – future strategies where the customer will always be at the centre. The two realities have in common historicity, continuity guaranteed by family management, and specialization in the hardware and components sector. While maintaining their respective areas, the close collaboration will give rise to new projects and initiatives aimed at the Italian market.

Francesco Brambilla, Managing Director of Hettich Italia commented: “Hettich has always looked to the future, both for the search for innovative solutions and constant growth, in terms of turnover and resources. Investments have always distinguished our history. We have taken important steps, as far as environmental and social sustainability are concerned, aiming at an ever-greater specialization. In this context lays the acquisition of a historic and recognized brand as FGV that in Italy we greet with great enthusiasm”.
