Developed with the global brand consultancy Interbrand and awarded with a Red Dot Award 2024, the new identity expresses the transformation of Gewiss into a project partner for its business community
The multi-year partnership has redefined the Group’s role in the competitive landscape and society and has redesigned the corporate ambition and brand identity. Interbrand has contributed to building the brand’s evolution process from a product supplier to a unique design partner, capable of developing and managing integrated and connected solutions for companies, professionals and end customers.
To support a strategic approach, new visual codes and brand identity have been introduced to develop around “Bicky”, the geometric shape that recalls the GEWISS logo and describes all the Group’s digital and offline touchpoints. Bicky is the symbol of innovation and the fluid connection between solutions. Gewiss’ new visual identity enhances the brand’s origins and reflects the concept of innovation, design and sustainability.
The effectiveness and value of this transformation were also attested by the Red Dot Design Award 2024 in the “Corporate Design & Identity” category, one of the most prestigious international awards for excellence in design, rewarding the company’s evolution path in the name of managerialization, internationalization, digitization and sustainability. The Red Dot Design Award is in addition to those obtained by GEWISS in 2016 and 2017 in the “Product Design” category.
