Gewiss will be the Gold Sponsor and Official Supplier of the Cantù Basketball Team for the next two seasons to achieve (and beat) together ever more challenging goals

Once again, GEWISS will accompany Pallacanestro Cantù in the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 sports seasons. Indeed, the reached sponsorship agreement will see the Bergamo-based company become a Gold Sponsor and Official Supplier of the company from Cantù. The union of the two realities has already led in recent years to the whole redevelopment of the lighting system of “PalaFitLine” in Desio, the club’s current sports home. A relamping that saw Smart[PRO] 2.0 2+2 M LED devices replace the old fixtures. A system which is also in line with national regulations for lighting in the presence of television filming.

“With Pallacanestro Cantù, we immediately found commune values and objectives, first of all, excellence and ambition. We aim for the highest peaks and never settle, even after reaching the top. It is also for this reason that we have decided to take the field alongside them, preparing ourselves to face together the most exciting matches that await us in the near future”. This is how Paolo Cervini, CEO of GEWISS, presented the agreement reached between the two companies, adding: “With this sponsorship, we also want to confirm our commitment to renovate the structures dedicated to sport. We intend to create useful synergies for the construction of buildings that can generate value throughout their life cycle, from conception to construction, up to their management and maintenance. In order to satisfy the needs of managers, athletes and spectators”.

The collaboration between GEWISS and Pallacanestro Cantù continues under the aegis of Digital Sport Innovation, a platform providing the system upgrade of current and future amateur and professional sports facilities, including playing fields, grandstands, changing rooms, technical rooms and car parks.

A project that has already contributed to bringing the quality of the solutions and the professionalism of the GEWISS services to many sports halls across the country, which in the lighting sector has further strengthened its growth path through the recent acquisition of PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING, a historic international company that will become an increasingly fundamental asset of the Group lighting solutions.
