Geometries, colours and plays of light characterize the Kasar restaurant in Brescia, Italy, where the combination of refined colours and materials blend harmoniously with retro-style furnishings to give light to a unique venue with an informal but refined atmosphere. The architectural project signed by Nicola Donda and developed by the interior designer Francesca Vizzari, aka Pistacchio & caffè, after a careful study of the location and the aesthetic and lighting needs, has identified Rossini Illuminazione as the right partner to ensure proper lighting of the spaces thanks to its versatile range of products capable of responding to the multiple lighting needs of the Kasar restaurant.
The main request of the client was to have high-performance lighting for lunch and dinner recreating natural light, in different situations and times, to make the dining areas welcoming and familiar and at the same time favouring their conviviality. KUBA, a ceiling luminaire with integrated LED, used in the round version and white finish, welcomes the customer fitting into a play of colour and contrast resulting by the wallpaper and green tiles on the walls, which alternate between glossy and opaque, guaranteeing a sophisticated scenic effect. KUBA is also applied in bathrooms, well inserted in a beehive of mirrors reflecting the light, give a feeling of amplitude to space and creating particular plays of perspectives.
For lighting the tables in the room Squash, a single-phase mains voltage track, equipped with RABAB, a double adjustable LED projector, made of die-cast aluminium. Thanks to the versatility of the track lighting and adjustable movement, both on the vertical and horizontal axis of the projector, this is an optimal solution for directing the light beam on the tables, giving precise and punctual lighting. Instead, to recreate more intimate moments and a more contained conviviality, both for the restaurant tables and for the countertops where you can enjoy a coffee on the fly or take a look at the PC, SIESTA was the suitable solution. The rechargeable portable lamp characterizes Rossini Illuminazione’s indoor and outdoor decorative offer: its minimal design, the absence of a power cable, and the dimmable light make it the ideal product to provide soft and modular lighting typical of a restaurant.
Included in the project in its white version PIC NIC, the modern portable rechargeable LED lantern, also from the IN & OUT collection, helps to give personality to the corners. LOGIN illuminates the passage areas and the counter area; an adjustable recessed LED spotlight fitly integrating with the structure and at the same time guaranteeing a functional and punctual light.
Rossini Illuminazione confirms itself as an all-round partner for the lighting designer, both thanks to a wide selection of ideal technical items, as in this case for transit areas and functional lighting, and thanks to the choice of suitable wireless decorative solutions for the most diverse convivial situations that the changing and flexible spaces like those of a restaurant. The combination of colour, plays of light and geometries at Kasar granted the complete success of a project intended to become a benchmark for restoration services at a European level.
