Interview with Enrico Giussani, owner of Securital, Desio – Italy

The first edition of the B2B Exhibition for subcontracting in the woodworking, furniture and design industries, on stage at the Lario Fiere exhibition centre in Erba (Como, Italy) from 19 to 21 January 2023, has just ended. There we met Enrico Giussani, the owner of Securital company seated in Desio – in the heart of the Italian Brianza – a specialist in the production and marketing of locks and closures for furniture and accessories.

You are among the exhibitors who believed in this new trade fair format…

It was undoubtedly a successful event that was felt necessary for our territory of Brianza, Lario and Lombardy. There, as we all know, the world of woodworking, furniture & design plays a fundamental role, with decades of tradition behind it and with thousands of people involved who offer their experience and professionalism every day.

Three days, therefore, interesting for you with a good inflow of insiders…

It was certainly three intense days made of relevant contacts, during which we could explain to our customers our history (… since 1924), our products and the services we offer. There was a good inflow of insiders who, visiting our stand, could see how a manufacturer of locks for furniture manufacturing its products in Brianza can undoubtedly be an excellent supplier to support its activities. To find the ideal partner for a careful and punctual collaboration and to be able to choose the most suitable closures for your furniture, with the customizations, colour variations and galvanic finishes available.

What does it mean to produce in Brianza today, and what is it meant by that well-known declaration that furniture manufacturing companies request from their suppliers?

Producing in Brianza today allows us to sign “The long-term declaration for products having an origin in the context of a preferential regime”. It is a Document that numerous companies exporting their manufactured goods have already requested from us for years for the facilitations it entails.

So, goodbye to the next edition?

Undoubtedly a trade fair – this one in Erba – that proved to be satisfactory and fully maintained the premises that had positively influenced our choice to participate. And we count on being present at the next edition, which will take place in 2024, from 18 to 20 January.
