Fael LUCE enters the scene with Next series!

21 March 2021

The Røa sports complex, close to Oslo, which is home to several sports, including football and the matches of female football team ‘Dynamite Girls’ (the most successful team in women’s football in Norway), has recently undergone a lighting upgrade.

Despite several lockdowns, the facility has recently renewed its lighting systems. NEXT 8 floodlights, in the asymmetric version, replaced the previous 400W metal halide. This technological upgrade has reduced energy consumption and increased illuminance levels, thus achieving an improvement in light uniformity and visual comfort for both players and audience. Thanks to their mechanical robustness and protective grid, the floodlights have a high impact resistance, making them suitable for applications in sporting venues. The redevelopment has added new technology and functionality to the old lighting system.

Fael LUCE with over 50 years of experience in designing football pitches was able to fully meet the club’s expectations.

NEXT 8 ASYMMETRIC

NEXT 8 is the floodlight of the new NEXT series, a high-performance and technologically efficient lighting solution. Thanks to its asymmetrical lighting distribution, it is ideal for indoor applications, such as sports halls and arenas, and outdoor applications, such as stadiums and car parks. The advantages of using an asymmetric version are visual comfort and reduction of upward light pollution.
