At the Extraordinary General Meeting, Mr. Edi Snaidero has been appointed as Chairman for 2021-2024 by the European Furniture Industries Confederation (EFIC).
Edi Snaidero, Chairman of the Management Board at Snaidero Rino SpA, is appointed Counsellor of Assarredo Kitchen Group within FederlegnoArredo. The attention to European associations is an indispensable tool for representing and promoting the interests of the Italian industry in Brussels.
Snaidero is the third president expressed by FederlegnoArredo in Europe, after Paolo Fantoni in EPF (European Panel Federation) and Michele Falcone in FEMB (European Office Furniture). A strategic approach, given that Europe is increasingly the panel to discuss regulations having a remarkable impact on the daily business. The objective of Snaidero’s presidency, in the wake of his predecessor Markus Wiesner, will be to strengthen the presence of EFIC at the work sessions and establish a constant and productive dialogue with the institutions to protect the requests of the industry.
“I am glad to take on the role of President of EFIC from Markus Wiesner, who has successfully led the organization for nearly a decade. Not only growing the Confederation, but also strengthening EFIC role in the Brussels arena, and I will make every effort to continue the excellent work done and to support the European furniture industry”, declares Edi Snaidero. “We will work together not only to overcome the impact of the global crisis caused by the pandemic, but also to prepare the industry to thrive in the green and digital transition, which EFIC fully supports”.
