Ten years in business for the Dino Zoli Group in charge of lighting UNESCO World Heritage Sites and Formula 1 Grand Prix venues
Ten years in business for DZ Engineering, the Dino Zoli Group company which manufactures systems and integrated solutions in the field of lighting, telecommunications and motorsport, both in Italy and abroad. A story that began with the construction of the lighting and track communication systems on the Marina Bay circuit for the Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix in 2011 through to the Diriyah E-Prix in Saudi Arabia in 2021 and the acquisition of the lighting enhancement project of the Verona Arena in the same year.
To celebrate the company’s tenth anniversary and share new projects and guiding ideas for the future in the field of technology, the recording of the round table entitled “Lighting and technology since 2011. DZ Engineering looks to the future”, dedicated to the enhancement of historical and artistic heritage and safety in motorsport, with a focus on innovation and the future, was published on the DZ Engineering social media channels (Facebook – LinkedIn). Intervening in the debate were Roberto Balzani, Italian historian and academic, full professor of Contemporary History at the Department of History, Culture and Civilisation of the University of Bologna, and Gian Carlo Minardi, founder of the famous Minardi Team, president of the board of “Formula Imola”, the company that manages Imola’s “Enzo e Dino Ferrari” circuit.
“DZ Engineering – declares the owner Dino Zoli – is the flagship of our companies; thanks to its particular business and the ability with which the team carries it out, it reaches the highest levels of worldwide visibility and appreciation.”
“These ten years of experience – adds Monica Zoli, CEO of DZ Engineering – have helped us grow and consolidate in terms of skills and credibility. Every day we make a conscious effort to keep up with changes and innovations, aware that we are part of a fast world.”
“Ten years of challenges – concludes Roberto Grilli, General Manager of DZ Engineering – which have led us to achieve important goals, both locally and in the international field.”

In Italy, the new operations centre of the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza and the CCTV system of the Autodromo Internazionale di Imola are also worthy of mention. In these ten years in business, it has operated in various fields in addition to motorsport, working on important projects that began in 2013 with the surveys for the Tadini Stadium in Parma and then the relamping of many Serie A stadiums (Empoli, Mapei Stadium and Brescia); tasks which continued when it took charge of the enhancement of Italian historical and cultural heritage with the lighting protection projects for numerous sites, including seven UNESCO ones (from Castel del Monte to Andria in 2015 to the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia in Ravenna in 2018 to the Arena di Verona in 2021), of artistic installations such as the Basilica of Siponto by Edoardo Tresoldi and industrial hubs such as the Port of Ravenna (with management and routine and extraordinary maintenance since 2012) or Ferrara’s petrochemical complex.
