Monitoring international design trends and reinterpreting them through increasingly convinient and sustainable polymer materials: new design options in the RAUVISIO surface programme take form from REHAU Furniture Solutions R&D activity.
Exclusive trend colours and advanced materials give new creative inspirations to the furniture industry professionals, allowing them to play with different levels of gloss, depth effects, gloss or matt, and an incredible variety of colour solutions in design match with RAUKANTEX edgebands and RAUVOLET shutters, for a unique interior design.
By combining design and sustainability, the new generation of wall claddings RAUVISIO innara sets new standards in terms of sustainable construction materials. The new surfaces consist of almost 100% European mineral components and natural fibers and are produced using a fully autonomous power supply and completely recycling the raw materials and reintegrating them into production. These natural surfaces are available in 10 attractive decors, ranging from Iron Concrete with an industrial concrete finish, through elegantly cool Smoke Blue, to warm red Jasper. These decors are perfectly coordinated and can easily be combined, but it’s also possible to customize decors thanks to digital printing. In public and special-use buildings, the interior design often needs to meet specific fire protection regulations. That’s why REHAU has also developed fire protect versions that meet the requirements of fire protection class A2-s1,d0.
REHAU’s development of versatile materials steps forward to the reproduction of an authentic look of concrete: the new RAUVISIO cube surfaces are meant to design industrial-style furniture through a convenient polymer solution: light, flexible to work with standard woodworking tools, and highly scratch- and break-resistant. Available in six different colours ranging from classic shades to warmer, more natural trends, the new RAUVISIO cube surfaces are hardly distinguishable from the original material, both to the eye and to the touch. Thanks to natural air pores (cavities), each panel is individual and unique in its surface structure, making every piece of furniture one of a kind. A solid concrete slab look is created by applying a 45° chamfer, with the matching RAUKANTEX pigmento edgeband pigmented in the milling radius.
RAUVISIO crystal surfaces are conceived for designing interiors through the timeless elegance of glass, exploiting all the advantages offered by polymer materials. The range now offers new design options for exclusive combinations of colours and materials, such as fresh solid colours of the RAUVISIO crystal Pure collection and the Pantone Colour of the Year 2024, Peach Fuzz. The award-winning RAUVISIO crystal Deep Collection has also been revamped with new, warm, earthy nuances that can be combined in a versatile way with different design proposals in the other REHAU’s collections.
The new Luna colour symbolises the chromatic harmony between the different collections: it combines in a multifaceted way with both the RAUVISIO noir Boxar Blonde and RAUVISIO cube surfaces, offering designers and furniture manufacturers a coordinated system of surfaces, edgebands and shutters for a holistic interior design.
