In the Tor Cervara residential complex the electrical distribution has been realized with ABB switchboards. The Chiara wiring accessorie series has enhanced the functionality of the systems in the apartments
The S.A.L.C. Company. S.p.A., one of Italy’s largest builders, is completing two residential buildings on a 58,000 square meter site in the Tor Cervara area of Rome, choosing ABB products and solutions for the construction of a new residential complex. Over the years, S.A.L.C. has consolidated a role of primary importance in the construction of large civil and industrial infrastructures, with a turnover of more than 1 billion euros and a work portfolio of 450 million euros. The residential complex is located in a strategic area, near the Grande Raccordo Anulare, overlooking the Aniene Park. It consists of two identical structures with a horseshoe plan for a total of 434 apartments and is a new and comfortable structure, ideal for families looking for a quiet place on the outskirts of Rome.
In the Tor Cervara complex, all electrical distribution was managed by installing Abb switchboards, which are particularly suitable for distribution in residential complexes, as they consist of structures made up of modular kits in various combinations, capable of covering applications for terminal distribution boards, both wall-mounted up to 400A and floor-mounted up to 800A. ABB’s Mistral apartment switchgear contains ABB circuit breakers that individually protect the circuits present from both overcurrents and indirect contacts, ensuring that a fault knocks out only the line concerned, leaving voltage to the rest of the house. The switchboards are made of Halogen Free thermoplastic material and are completely recyclable. The opening of the door up to 180° guarantees maximum accessibility to the customer. The Chiara series was chosen for the light and shutter controls and sockets, which with its simple elegance of the controls and white fruits enhances any type of environment.
In modern residences, 7-module supports have been installed to allow the addition of further sockets, particularly useful when smartworking and numerous power supplies are required.
