13 March 2025

The leading event for DIY, Home and Garden professionals will return on 24 and 25 September 2025 at FieraMilano Rho. 25,000 square meters made available to producers, distributors and operators in a sector that in Italy generates a turnover of 13 billion euros

High expectations for the 17th edition of Bricoday, the unmissable and complete event for professionals, DIY production and distribution chains (Brico, Home, Garden). From 24 to 25 September 2025, the next edition will be held in halls 22 and 24 of FieraMilano Rho: 25,000 square meters of exhibition space dedicated to the novelties of a sector that involves and excites millions of Italians and is worth over 13 billion euros.

Bricoday, the leading event in Italy – the last edition recorded 412 exhibitors, 9,100 visitors, including 2,900 buyers – will take place at FieraMilano Rho to continue its growth “maintaining the same spirit that has always characterized it“, underline the organizers. That new prestigious location with its spaces will allow a more orderly, coherent and profitable exhibition layout: the Do-it-yourself/Technical, Home and Garden sectors will be reorganized by-product coherence, as well as the two thematic halls dedicated to lighting (Bricoday Luce) and the world of digital innovation (Bricoday Digital Village)“.

Visitors’ paths will be more coherent and immediate than in the past, favouring opportunities for meetings, business opportunities and matchmaking between exhibitors and visitors. Not only that: the exhibition will offer meetings, conferences, and seminars with experts and analysts from the most relevant research companies to deepen the most interesting topics in the world of DIY and target the new challenges of the sector, from sustainability to products and services innovation, to new technical and technological solutions proposed by leading companies, the effectiveness of the various physical and digital sales channels, the analysis of the demands of an increasingly large and segmented consumer audience.

The home, in every declination and environment – from the bathroom to objects, from flooring to household goods, from textiles to decoration, from maintenance to the chemical sector, to small household appliances, to climate, to cleaning – will have ample space, the result of constant and increasingly evident growth in recent years. The “home world” will host the fifth edition of Bricoday Luce, a thematic area on the rise that has been “sold out” for some time (indoor and outdoor lighting, smart lighting, decorative lights, light bulbs).

Other relevant sectors will be that of do-it-yourself/technical, where wood (parquet, shelves, coatings), paints, construction, hardware (from small parts to accident prevention, from profiling to locks and so on), tools (manual and electric tools, accessories, vacuum cleaners, compressors), electrical, car accessories (batteries, lubricants, additives, perfumes, chains), that will have large exhibition areas available. The Garden sector will also enjoy new spaces and visibility for the proposals dedicated to gardens and terraces, with an exhibition that varies from furniture, equipment and accessories for outdoor spaces to barbecues, from irrigation to swimming pools, from tools, machinery and pets, to solutions for the care and maintenance of greenery and land.

The Bricoday Digital Village, on the other hand, will offer a complete overview of the world of digital and innovative solutions for retail: a sector in fast development, also evidenced by the increase in companies participating in the last edition (40, +60% in 2023). That area – which will record a rich schedule of meetings – conferences, and demonstrations, has become an increasingly central reference for the retail strategies of producers and buyers in the world of distribution: 360° digital evolution of computerized control, management, and sales systems will see platforms and marketplaces for e-commerce, development of AI-based technologies, logistics, product coding, marketing, communication, customer services, payments and fintech, to name a few.

Of the 9,100 professionals visiting the last edition of Bricoday, the 550 online commerce operators visiting testify precisely to the importance of new technologies in the sector. The share of distribution operators registered among the stands is increasingly significant: 2,900 buyers from the specialized DIY large-scale retail trade, owners of DIY stores, wholesalers, hardware, tools, buyers from other sectors such as lighting, electrical, housewares, furniture, construction, electronics and large-scale distribution.

The operators of supplier companies – manufacturers, importers, distributors of DIY and household items, hardware, tools, and sales agents – were 4,400, while the employees of distribution service companies who entered Bricoday were 1,250. Worth mentioning the growing presence of leading specialized brands visiting: Bricocenter, Bricofer, Bricolife, Brico io, Brico OK, Brico Point, Consorzio FDT, Eurobrico, Evoluzione Brico, Leroy Merlin, Mondobrico, OBI. Among the other brands are Bennet, Carrefour, Conad, Conforama, Coop Italia, Esselunga, Eurospin, GS, Iper, and Unipam.

With GfK and TradeLab, Bricoday’s historical research partners, market numbers, consumer trends and the performance of the distribution network will be presented and analyzed. In September 2025, there will be an abundance of insights into international market trends and the evolution of consumer behaviour, from products to reference channels, thanks to the collaboration with Observatories and research centres.
