Bricoday 2024 – announced another record edition

The engines are warming up for the sixteenth edition of Bricoday Expo&Forum on 2 and 3 October at Fieramilanocity, with about 400 exhibitors

 

Hall 3, which will host Bricoday and Digital Village in the same exhibition space, scheduled for 2 and 3 October 2024 at Fieramilanocity, is already sold out. About 400 exhibitors are expected to attend and represent all sectors of DIY, home, outdoor, lighting, hardware and the digital world. This edition will see the participation of new relevant brands that have placed their trust in the event and testify to the increasing importance that Bricoday occupies in the national trade fair scene and beyond.

 

The heart of the event

The home, in all its forms and environments, remains the fulcrum of the exhibition: bathroom, arrangement, wood, furniture, household items, and objects are the main sectors represented, to which has to be added Bricoday Luce, the area dedicated to the world of lighting which – now in its fourth edition – is once again sold out. The outdoor world is growing, as is the entire technical sector, which is particularly active this year. There was also warm participation from the distribution channel, with numerous DIY and home brand stands.

 

Bricoday Light

Already held with great success since 2021, Bricoday Luce is Bricoday’s lighting salon. The area showcases everything that makes light in the DIY world: wall lamps, chandeliers, floor lamps, spotlights, LED strips, outdoor lighting, and light bulbs. Bricoday Luce will occupy an area of 2,000 square meters inside Bricoday, located in the pavilion centre. An attractive and different set-up will make Bricoday Luce ‘shine’ and make it a point of attraction for visitors.

Bricoday Luce’s goal is to highlight the lighting sector, one of the most dynamic ones characterized more than others by technological, design, and regulatory factors and undoubtedly the most attractive. Thanks to a dedicated space and a wide-ranging promotion, Bricoday Luce will attract, in addition to visitors from the DIY sector, also buyers from furniture and home centres, markets and lighting retailers who are already entering Bricoday.

 

Bricoday Digital Village

The growth of the Bricoday Digital Village continues vigorously, which this year will occupy a portion of Hall 3 and will host a higher number of exhibitors compared to the last edition. The activity areas of the companies present are mainly payments and fintech, marketing, data and management, e-commerce and marketplaces, retail tech/digital stores, consulting and agencies, logistics and supply chain.

The Digital Village aims to involve professionals dedicated to the digital functions of both the distribution and production worlds. In addition to the exhibition, there will be an extensive conference program, corporate speeches in the theatre specially set up in the Digital Village area, one-to-one meetings and much more.

 

Bricoday, event profile

Bricoday Expo&Forum, now in its sixteenth edition, is the most important B2B event for the worlds of DIY, home decoration, outdoor and technical. From its inception as a simple half-day conference, it has gradually become the reference point for the various sectors that revolve around the arrangement and improvement of the home and garden. Supported by Bricomagazine and Ferrutensil, leading media in the same markets, its successful formula consists of bringing together a large number of companies in a compact and easy-to-visit environment that fosters a strongly “commercial” climate made up of rapid and profitable meetings between production and distribution.

At Bricoday, all the product categories of the DIY world are exhibited, with some sectors, such as outdoor and plastic items, in particular highlighted. The world of lighting is still solid, to which the Bricoday Luce thematic area is dedicated, with the presence of many specialized companies. At Bricoday, the organized distribution of exhibition spaces is also present. All the principal consortia/franchise brands promote their affiliation offer to entrepreneurs who intend to enter the DIY distribution groups.

The 2023 edition saw the participation of over 8,900 visitors, of which about 31% are distribution operators: buyers of the large-scale retail trade brico, owners of brico stores, wholesalers, hardware, tools and other sectors such as lighting, electrical, houseware, furniture, construction, electronics. Compact, comfortable to visit, business-oriented. Bricoday is an event not to be missed.
