Both bear the signature of the architect Filippo Caprioglio: the Villa in Mogliano Veneto, awarded under the international award of Luxury Lifestyle Awards 2021, and the lamp IXI by Leucos standing in the salon, in a reduced version of the most famous and imposing one installed in Candiani cinema, Mestre
In the new course of the historic lighting company LEUCOS, acquired at the end of March 2019 by Abramo Manfrotto – the owner of CLANN, a company based in Bassano del Grappa, close to Vicenza – there is already the sharing of a prize. Both the villa in Mogliano Veneto – awarded as part of the 13th edition of the international Luxury Lifestyle Awards – and the IXI Lamp that stands in the hall in a smaller version than the most famous and impressive one installed at Candiani cinema in Mestre – Italy, bear the signature of the Italian architect Filippo Caprioglio.
Award-winning architect, son of art, Filippo Caprioglio, born in 1971, designed the villa in Mogliano Veneto, province of Treviso – Italy, awarded last September in New York with the Lifestyle Luxury Award 2021 as the best single-family home project in Italy. At the project’s centre he wanted to install the IXI lamp he designed for Leucos in 2011. In the same year, it earned him the US Good Design Award. “I played on the idea of spatial surprise: from a minimum height of 2.70 meters to the almost 6 of the open space, where the huge chandelier hangs. A luminous sculpture, modulable depending on the space and needs, and consisting of 180 pieces, instead of the most famous one – located at Candiani cinema in Mestre – that consists of about a thousand pieces“.
With Studio in Marghera and in New York, once received the award Caprioglio said: “Each project is unique and different because unique and different are people and their desires, as well as site and conditions. For this reason, I call all the houses I create with clients’ initials, adding the number of the children: Mogliano Veneto is F+T+3”. It is a project created to respond to the couple who wanted something different for their “final home”, today an award-winning two-storey villa of over 250 square meters, with a garden of more than 500 square meters and a 12 by 5 meters pool immersed in light.
Also, the IXI lamp is a project “custom made”, that meets the needs of architects, interior decorators or those who, being passionate about interior design, want to design a customized version, like other lighting installations that Leucos realizes. IXI is a ceiling lamp with cascades of cylindrical elements in transparent glass with metallic mirrored decorations; it has a structure in matt white lacquered metal and is suitable for multiple customized compositions.
