Table lamps like sophisticated and elegant sculptures of light

2 April 2025

Barovier&Toso presents an extensive catalogue of table lamps in Murano blown glass (Venetian Crystal)

Reflecting a variety of personalities, the different designs are crafted for every occasion and seamlessly blend into both classic environments and modern, contemporary settings. Emitting a soft light, these lamps enhance the surrounding space, creating warm and inviting corners.

Among the most iconic pieces in the catalogue are Camparino, Ercole, and Padma, all designed in-house by Barovier&Toso; the Veronese lamp, designed by Umberto Riva; and Opéra lamps, by Philippe Nigro.

Opéra

Inspired by the Opéra Garnier, it stands out for its eclectic, decorative character, expressed in stylistic mixtures and remarkable compositional balance. The references to a certain Baroque splendour are tempered by more minimal, contemporary touches, generating a delicate, harmonious dichotomy.

Ercole

Inspired by an original idea by Ercole Barovier in the 1940s and created using the “rostrato” technique he had just invented, this table lamp is available in different sizes: the bigger of the two includes an additional light source inside the base, controlled separately.

Padma

This collection is designed to express harmony, a synthesis of parts, a synergy of contrasts. The external ampoule has a very clean design, made in a single blowing, and a gradually shaded colour, produced by the skillful gesture of the artisan. The other parts, finely crafted with the typical Murano ribbing technique, have complex, sophisticated forms.

Veronese

A crystal vase crossed by a beam of light, in the famous painting by Paolo Veronese depicting the Annunciation. This is the image behind the pure lines of an object of consummate elegance, reinterpreted in modern terms. With its diffused, enveloping light the lamp fits perfectly into classic and modern decors, bringing them unique, exclusive character.

Camparino

Camparino is an elegant, sophisticated wireless table lamp that brings together past and present in a single, compact piece. On the one hand it reflects Murano glassmaking tradition, in that it uses the “rostrato” technique; on the other, it represents the ultimate in modernity.
