SICAM, the international exhibition of components, accessories and semi-finished products for the furniture industry, closed last October at Pordenone Fiere with great success of visitors. In numbers: 692 exhibitors from 34 countries in a net exhibition area of 19,135 square metres. On the occasion of the event, the Veneto-based company Cobofra Group confirmed its presence again this year: with its smart lighting brand Giada System, the company presented the innovations implemented in the Building Automation system in the last year.
The wireless system to control and manage light in buildings Giada System has thus revealed its peculiarities, also declined to the furniture world. More and more often today, light and furniture go hand in hand and constitute a consolidated combination when it comes to integrated light, in which light sources are part of the furnishing elements, such as furniture, mirrors, kitchens, and much more. Functional lit furnishing accessories, enhanced by their aesthetic and decorative appearance, offer a modern and minimal touch to the environment.
With this in mind, the Giada System has been conceived and designed to meet the various needs in governing and managing the lighting points in autonomy, with different parameters and increasingly advanced technologies. The use of totally new systems allows the user to optimize the functions of the light, from switching on to adjusting the colour and creating scenarios through a mobile app downloadable from IOS and Android or Amazon Echo and Google Home voice commands.
