In today’s context, where sustainability and energy efficiency have become global priorities, LED revamping aims to radically transform aging lighting systems by offering innovative solutions that combine energy savings, reduced environmental impact, and improved light quality.

At the main entrance of Allianz MiCo – one of Europe’s most important convention centres managed by Fiera Milano Congressi S.p.A. – SIDE has installed about 200 custom-made projectors with technical and lighting characteristics that are among the best performing on the market and controlled via DALI protocol.  The lighting of the vertical surfaces was provided by track-mounted projectors, whose flexibility allows them to better illuminate the connection elements that are used from time to time.

The objectives of the project were thus achieved, and specifically:

1. Energy efficiency: Replacing old light sources with LED technologies that consume up to 80% less energy.
2. Reduction of the Environmental Impact: Contributing to the decrease of CO2 emissions through low-consumption technologies.
3. Improve Light Quality: Providing superior quality light to achieve maximum visual comfort and safety.
4. Economic Sustainability: Reduce operational costs through remote control consequently generating lower energy consumption and maintenance costs.

LED relamping, especially when accompanied by the use of professional lighting control systems, is a step not only toward energy efficiency, but also toward a more sustainable future. Through the adoption of innovative LED technologies, we can actively contribute to environmental protection by creating brighter, safer, and more sustainable spaces for future generations.
