Alba: new general catalog and rebranding to make a difference

7 October 2024

Following the significant rebranding project that involved all divisions of Metalmeccanica Alba, now united under the single brand Alba, the manufacturer from the province of Treviso takes another step forward by presenting the new general catalog, available starting in September on its website. This document encompasses all the latest collections, highlighting Alba’s new identity, with the aim of increasingly positioning itself as a major player in the design and production of furniture, including chairs, tables, benches, stools, and coat hangers.

The rebranding project, launched just a few months ago, is characterized by rationality and coherence, traits that are also reflected in the new unique and comprehensive general catalog. It presents the entire range of collections, including the exclusive ones showcased at Interzum 2023 and those launched in 2021, 2022, and 2024. All collections are presented with an easy and intuitive assembly kit logic, allowing a complete and in-depth understanding of the products and their technical details.

New collections: Innovation and Design

In 2021, Alba introduced key products that marked a turning point for the company. The 91GM bench leg and the Stelo coat hanger demonstrated a new functional approach oriented towards ease of assembly. The following year, 2022, saw the launch of two revolutionary furniture accessories for Alba: the Unyo modular seating system, which offers creative and multitasking furnishing solutions, and the Modula modular shelving, capable of completing any environment in an original and personalized way.

The year 2023 has been a crucial year for Alba, marked by its participation in the prestigious Interzum fair. Here, Alba presented emblematic collections of its new direction. The Genesi seating collection stands out for its versatility and numerous possible configurations, making it suitable for various environments such as offices and coworking spaces. Gemma, with its essential design and stackable capability, is ideal for contract and domestic settings. The Lemon collection is designed for outdoor use, but its ergonomics and range of tables make it suitable for multiple contexts. The Xylo seats, which combine beech or oak shells with a wide range of metal bases, offer a touch of elegance to any environment. Finally, the Duo leg for the Tipper table collection combines metal and plastic, creating a lightweight and durable structure with rational lines. Throughout 2024, Alba continues its renewal journey with new and diverse models such as Riace, Jota, Maui, and Meti, representing the continuity in the company’s evolution.

A New Chapter for Alba

Alba’s new catalog is not just a selection of products, but represents the identity and values path undertaken by the company in recent years. This path does not lead to a complete break from the past but constitutes a leap forward, a new stage in an evolutionary, productive, and commercial process, presenting Alba in the market with a unique identity not only as a third-party supplier but as a producer of complete and distinctive furnishing solutions.

Alba’s rebranding was not just a superficial project but conveyed a structural change resulting from strategic choices that have increased the quantity and quality of products designed and manufactured internally. The new catalog, together with the new website, provides an official and tangible voice to the Alba world, demonstrating the company’s commitment to constant improvement and innovation.
