In a timeless dialogue between innovation and classic aesthetic, new contemporary collections go with the brand’s bespoke compositions
ITALAMP eclectic collections, a historic company in the Made in Italy lighting sector, have been selected to interpret the high-end spaces of an exclusive private residence in Prato della Valle in the heart of Padua, whose interior design project was signed by the renowned Studio Marco Piva. The intervention, developed with a view to aesthetic and functional continuity with the palace Art Nouveau architecture, has been able to transfer to the interiors the luxurious character and monumental aesthetic of the valuable context.
ITALAMP’s creations were chosen to dress the lighting of numerous rooms in the home, which is spread over 4 floors and an area of more than 600 square meters, with large interconnected spaces characterized by the use of custom top-quality coverings and finishes. The company has been the protagonist of the first products supply in 2021, the date of delivery, with the Collier, Caterina, Greta, Frida, Quarzo and Duo Cordless collections, and again later in 2023 with the upgrade of the new Aurora and Nube, presented at the last edition of Euroluce.
ITALAMP’s deep know-how and extraordinary sensitivity to new trends – always interpreted from a timeless perspective – made it possible to complete the lighting project in which contemporary novelties flanked fascinating bespoke compositions and the brand’s classics.
At the entrance, to welcome guests, is the new Aurora floor lamp – design Virginia Cei – with a distinctive retro allure, declined in the version with an antique white finish frame and cappuccino shade, with an eclectic aesthetic, perfect for the room. The same element was also chosen for the master bedroom.
The sinuous Murano glass Nube – design Koz + Susani – in salmon pink coloring is placed along the entrance corridor. Its dreamy, light forms lend magic to the space and open the view of the imposing staircase where the Quarzo applique – design Studio Mamo – in light gold finish is positioned, which, thanks to their carved crystal diffusers, create striking plays of light on the walls.
The living room, characterized by classical statues and the glow of marble floor and wall tiles, welcomes the bespoke Collier creation – designed by Marc Sadler – exciting and with powerful expressive force. The innovative Collier modular system dresses the entire length of the room with sinuous draperies embellished with blown glass elements. Each diffuser is a synthesis of fascinating organic-inspired geometries: spirals, twists, spheres and shapes with irregular volumes create unseen threads of light supported by a gold-finish dissipator made especially for this composition. Olive green, agate, taupe, smoked and teak are the colors that identify the color palette. The large round-arched windows arranged on the sides of the room are interspersed with the Caterina applique – design THDP – in the special white and agate finish with a brushed gold finish frame.
The warm, enveloping nuances of the dining room’s woods and marble are embellished by the Greta and Frida hanging lamps – both designed by Roberta Vitadello and Stefano Traverso – respectively articulated in a 3-element composition, placed above the dining table, and a single horizontal one that illuminates a second crystal table.
The linearity of the proposals is developed in the subtle balance between the hand-carved transparent blown crystal spheres of different sizes with the light gold metal frame that emphasizes the beams of light.
Finally, the Duo pair of cordless lamps – designed by Koz + Susani – completes the lighting of the sumptuous terrace with pool. Perfect for creating an atmosphere of soft light, it fits harmoniously with the outdoor furniture in shades of white and wood.
