The lighting world is constantly moving and updating: small and large innovations simplify using lighting systems, especially the more complex and extensive ones. Giada System steadily looks for solutions suitable for the rapid progress of intelligent technologies and management networks. Networks that include illuminating and transmitting info at every point of the architectural space.

At Light + Building 2024, Giada System will present a new DALI control device: the innovative Giada System product sends a broadcast communication, forwarding a single command to all DALI devices connected to it. This new interface allows you to control the light and manage parts of the existing DALI system via the Giada System (retrofit) or to design mixed Giada System and DALI systems using the wireless feature of the Giada System. DALI is an intelligent platform capable of also managing information on the status of the lamps, i.e. switching on and off, status-operating, and luminous flux power.

The lighting system is automatically operated thanks to the practicality and reduced number of controls. The innovative DALI module by Giada System is controllable as if it were a single lamp, an approach much requested outside the domestic environment for more complex and extensive lighting systems, for instance, in the office or hospitality field. When a “turn off”, “turn on”, or “dim” command is activated, the new module will interface directly with the existing DALI connection, transmitting the input to all the lamps connected to the network. DALI Giada System is self-powered, i.e. the power supply is inserted directly into the master board. The module works at mains voltage, guaranteeing stability and flexibility to the system.

In addition, the device is small in dimensions (47×47 mm), allowing it to be easy and ready to place. At Light + Building will be presented the module for managing non-dynamic white light. The dynamic white version will soon be the next step. The Giada System DALI interface sends the command in broadcast to the individual drivers, thus allowing simplified and intuitive control and management of even the most complex systems. And like all Giada systems, the modules and related buttons are easily configured and managed via the App.

At Light + Building 2024 will also be presented the button management module. Once configured via the App, the user will physically control the lights on and -off through a button. A practical and functional operating mode, especially for those systems using multiple light lines, such as office environments. Furthermore, the button configuration offers the possibility of immediate and effective control. The management command is sent via Wi-Fi, sending a unique and timely message to the individual devices.
