The miniaturized Linealuce Mini 27R luminaire and the Crystal linear recessed luminaire enter the selection of the ADI Design Index 2023, a volume collecting the best of products and projects at the national level and represents a stage of the Compasso d’Oro Award, the oldest and most prestigious design award in the world. Research and innovation of optics, lighting performance, eco-design and energy-saving principles are the characteristics submitted to the ADI Permanent Design Observatory that has recognized their values and value.
Crystal is a new linear recessed luminaire that gives preciousness to the ceiling and space, combining an essential design, very high visual comfort and extraordinary LED luminous efficiency, up to 155 lm/W. The new patented Opti Diamond optics, designed, developed and manufactured at the Recanati headquarters, are the result of a careful study of materials, engineering and processing that optimize the catadioptric principle, thus combining reflection and refraction in a single system and thus producing an extraordinarily low-luminance brilliance.
Crystal restores three-dimensionality to space through light, balancing luminance contrasts in the different planes and thus improving the perception of the same and, therefore, visual well-being. With extraordinary efficiency values and designed according to the eco-design criteria, Crystal has obtained the ECO Passport, an environmental certification to assess the environmental impact of lighting fixtures. Crystal can use the Bluetooth-Dali interface to program and smartly manage the light to optimize consumption and provide light only when needed.
An outdoor and indoor lighting fixture that is a three-dimensional slit of light; with a depth of only 2.7 cm, it fits into any thickness of the architecture, camouflaging itself in it and disappearing from view. Linealuce mini 27R is a masterpiece of precision that offers a patented triple optical technology to shape the light according to every need to create the perfect effect, combining efficiency and visual quality. High performance, efficiency up to 100 lm/W, customized LED light distribution, material reduction, use of glass and 100% recycled and recyclable aluminium, extruded aluminium body with flush die-cast zamak end caps. Bluetooth technology for smart gardens management, locally and remotely, uses the bridge/Wi-Fi.
iGuzzini’s Crystal and Linealuce Mini 27R were exhibited at the ADI Design Museum in Milan during the ADI Design Index 2023 exhibition, open to the public from 7 to 19 November. The exhibition has been hosted in Rome at the Spazio WeGil from 28 November to 3 December 2023, too.
