In the heart of Salento, a few kilometres from Brindisi, is Cellino San Marco, a town with typical Apulian features, with the baronial palace in the centre, surrounded by whitewashed houses. Seated in a fertile plain, the town name to the quality of the olive groves that are grown there, called “celino”, a Greek term indicating the black colour of the berry: a village to be discovered in which we find the Plaza Carrisi Hotel & SPA, a residence from the 1700s located in the ancient square.
The love for history, beautiful things and the territory prompted its owners to renovate that splendid stately building in 2012, transforming it into a high-level accommodation facility. Composed of various housing solutions equipped with every comfort, the hotel reveals ancient walls, small niches, enchanting hidden corners, secret staircases and splendid barrel vaults. The setting is an internal garden, an elegant meeting room and a magnificent Wellness SPA with Hammam cave, created in the oldest part of the building.

For this reason, and to provide that excellent welcome as a distinctive feature, the instalment of Vimar Well-contact Plus hotel management system, developed on the KNX standard, allows for the comfort and safety of each environment. In particular, lighting and air conditioning are programmable and centrally controllable from the reception as well as check-in and check-out in the rooms and common areas, room status signalling (customer in the room, do not disturb, room to be tidied up and so on), alarms technical or emergency that indicates any faults in electrical devices and requests for intervention by the customer.
