LUX ITALIA has launched Daplicator®, the new device that reduces the relamping costs
Building Management System (BMS) controlled lighting is a key aspect of modern lighting technology. With BMS, lighting can be managed according to the requirements of a building, ensuring significant energy saving. The process of relamping BMS-controlled luminaires can however, often be expensive due to the cost of running the system. Procedures not only require an installer to carry out physical replacements but also involve a BMS system operator, who needs to identify and reprogram new luminaires.
Daplicator®, the innovative electronic device patented by Lux Italia, makes the relamping of DALI and DALI2 compatible luminaires controlled by BMS systems quick and easy. With Daplicator®, the necessity for a BMS system operator is no longer required in order to configure a new luminaire. During the replacement phase, Daplicator® reads the configuration of the luminaire that is to be replaced and transfers it to the new luminaire within seconds.
This significantly reduces the time needed to commission new luminaires, making the investment in BMS-controlled lighting relamping even more cost-effective. An installer using Daplicator® can eliminate the need for a BMS system controller.
