2023 by AlbaComponents: continuity and a vision for the future

15 March 2023

AlbaComponents, a manufacturer and brand producing furniture accessories and solutions, is preparing to kick off the new year with a firm focus on the activities and products designed and released in 2022, holding true to its core values of innovation, close community ties, and a synergy between industrial production and expert craftsmanship – essential elements which are the company’s hallmarks. Among the first events of 2023 will see the Veneto-based brand participating in Interzum, the most important international trade fair dedicated to the subcontracting sector of the furniture and interior design industry, to be held in Cologne from 9th to 12th May. Finally, following the event’s enforced suspension of recent years, AlbaComponents will be able to showcase its rich offering of furniture solutions at the event.

These will include the main products launched in 2022: the 91GM waiting area bench leg, the Stelo coat stand, and Unyo and Modula – two innovative and highly original furniture pieces within AlbaComponents’ collections which saw intense activity from the company’s R&D team to design and engineer of contemporary, functional and innovative products, both regarding their technical aspects, as well as from the standpoints of style and sustainability. 91GM and Stelo: two consolidated product types in AlbaComponents’ offer, both of which were created by the designer Shannon Sadler. 91GM is a leg for waiting area benches where ease of assembly accentuates the continuity of the seamless, clean surfaces. Stelo is a lightweight, practical coat stand with swivel head comprising 6 interlocking elements.

Modularity and versatility are the stand-out features of Unyo, a seating system that can be configured in a diverse range of shapes, combinations and styles to deliver numerous solutions. Unyo is available in two different versions: the stand-alone version comprising an armchair, a 2-seater sofa, and a bench; and the modular version, which represents the true essence of this new product. Its innovative connecting joints allow the frames to be assembled easily and in numerous different configurations. These features make Unyo ideal for those working environments and common spaces which see a free-flowing and dynamic usage.

Modula, on the other hand, is a furnishing system that blends the classic concept of a bookcase with the technical characteristics of a modular, multi-purpose shelving system that can be adapted to numerous settings. Modula is available in 2 versions: the first with uprights for wall mounting, and the second with uprights for ceiling mounting. One of the many stand-out features of Modula is its innovative shelf supports, which represent the pivotal feature of the project and ensure outstanding versatility of application. The supports allow each shelf to be entirely independent, meaning they can be positioned or removed along the uprights with ease. Plus, they allow shelves to be tilted to 3 different angles.

Another stand-out product for 2022 has been Tipper, the family of tables featuring folding tops, which has become one of the signature products within the AlbaComponents range. Tipper is available in two models, Pro and Classic, and has been further enhanced with new colours for the feet, allowing for a tone-on-tone colour combination paired to the finishes of the legs. A selection that gives depth to the collection, and which places great emphasis on rationality of design and enhanced aesthetic impact.

Unyo, Modula, Tipper, along with many other products, can be viewed within AlbaExpe, the virtual environment the company has created which allows clients to move around within a ecosystem populated by furnishing solutions designed by AlbaComponents. AlbaExpe, together with the product configurators, are part of a suite of highly practical digital tools which extend the range of complete and functional services clients can enjoy. But the company’s vision goes beyond digital solutions, as they are forging ahead with major advances to logistics and intralogistics to make stock management and delivery more efficient through warehouse automation, which has been fully operational for just over a year now.

The Veneto-based brand kicks off 2023 by building on major choices and projects completed in the previous months, with renewed confidence in the future and a more integrated, organic and free-flowing vision for its new products.
