Panta rei. Nilo – the new project by Matteo Ugolini – hints at this “everything flows”, evoking the increasingly widespread desire to reconnect with nature and our origins: a thin, flexible aluminium rod with a matte white resin diffuser on top. And just as it is not possible to bathe into the same river twice – for it only seems identical, when in reality it constantly changes – so Nilo can never illuminate the same experience.
