COLLETTO, Design by Emmepi Design

A minimalist “V” shape that brings to mind a shirt collar. For the Colletto lamp, the marble has been given a “sartorial cut”, as if it were a fabric. A simple cylinder made from Arabesque marble, filtering a soft, diffused light that highlights the natural graining of this fine stone and gives the lamp a unique quality.

This project represents Emmepi Design’s tribute to its roots. Each Colletto lamp is hand-turned, sculpted and finished by craftsmen from the town of Pietrasanta. The bulb, concealed by a methacrylate diffuser inside the cylinder, illuminates the marble to reveal its true beauty.
