Starting from 2022, the South-American Confederación de Fútbol will require a minimum of 1,300 lux in the field to raise the standard requirements for the Argentine stadiums lighting.

The prestigious Club Atlético Independiente will host its 50,655 fans under the lights of an outstandingly intelligent system integrating 5 different optics specifically and exclusively developed for the customer.

Arena is Khatod‘s new family of top-end reflectors, designed for lighting large areas, specially designed for application in sports facilities and environments, indoor and outdoor. Available in 5 models, the reflectors are square – 145mm x 145mm – and consist of a matrix composed of 48 reflectors with a 20mm pitch. They offer a variety of NEMA beam angle types, from a super Narrow Beam (8°, NEMA 2) to Ultra Wide Beam (70°, NEMA 5), as well as an exceptional symmetrical beam (NEMA 5×6). Made of HT Black PC with reflective aluminium coating deposited in high vacuum, the reflectors perfectly work between -40° and ~ 90°C.

Arena reflectors are designed and built to accommodate the famous 3535 LEDs with domes, feature high light efficiency, excellent light flux and excellent glare control. The ARENA family is completed by a series of optional covers made of transparent PC ensuring shock protection and equipped with a silicone seal that guarantees IP protection. They can be used in single blocks or configured in several parts to create the most appropriate lighting fixture for each application (high-bay, light towers, warehouses).
